Our Wildlife

Discover the diverse species that thrive in our urban lakes

It All Begins With The Wildlife

Our amazing volunteer staff here at SoUL has provided an incredible new habitat for birds, native plants, otters and more. Because of their hard work, we're seeing more come to life. While a great job has been done, the work isn't over.

How You Can Help Wildlife Thrive

Respect

Keep a respectful distance from wildlife and their nesting areas. Observe from afar and avoid disturbing their natural behaviors.

Protect

Properly dispose of trash and participate in lake cleanup events. Even small actions can have a big impact on wildlife health.

Nurture

Support local ecosystems by planting native species in your yard. These plants provide food and shelter for local wildlife.
